a cry to my generation

I'm a college student who's tryin to survive

so why people don't want to strive in life

its bad enough that my generation is losing lives

because they rather live the fast life than strive

so why we can't have learn peace instead of strife

we should learn to prosper instead of accepting failure

to pave a way for the young generation we have to live pure

we say we want to do better but some are too lazy to stand up

nothin was givin to us so one day we have to learn that enough is enough

God has blessed us since we came in this world in the 80s/early 90s

so we have to step up for Him and change history 

so women stand up and be virtuous women,wife, and mothers

and brothas let bring back chivalry and be a provider and fathers

so this is a cry for my generation

yea this is a cry for my generation
